Service Learning Teams

Service Learning Teams focus on a particular topic and combine their service activity with curriculum content. For example, a service learning team focused on education might spend the first few days visiting a variety of schools and meeting with leaders of the Ministry of Education, university professors, teachers, parents and students. This would be followed by the opportunity to stay in a community and work in a school or educational program for a specified period of time (e.g, teaching adults to read, teaching English as a second language, working with preschool children, working in an after-school program).
